dc.description.abstractThis article describes an evidence-based care initiative and programme of clinical change which set out to improve the delivery of nursing care and related health outcomes for mentally disordered offender patients at Rampton Hospital. The programme has implications for all nursing specialties with studies also validated in mainstream psychiatric and general nursing contexts.
